Alloy Steel Die

Alloy steel extrusion dies are molds used for the plastic deformation of metal materials. They apply pressure to cause  deformation of the material to obtain products of the desired shape. ‌ 

Material selection

H13 die steel is commonly used for aluminum profile extrusion dies, which has a relatively high cost performance and durability. For high-temperature and high-pressure scenarios, high-temperature steels such as SKD61 can be selected. When complex-shaped work-pieces or those with severe high-temperature wear occur, authenticate heat-resistant die steel or insert dies (such as cemented carbide or ceramic materials) can be used.
